Tammy Scott-Wallace was first elected to the 60th Legislative Assembly during the 2020 provincial general election as the MLA for Sussex-Fundy-St. Martins.  On September 29th, 2020 she was appointed as the Minister of Tourism, Heritage, and Culture, and Minister responsible for Women’s Equality.

For 25 years Ms. Scott-Wallace worked as an award-winning journalist, with the majority of those years based in the region as an editor and reporter for the Kings County Record and Telegraph-Journal. Scott-Wallace covered politics at all levels and spent her career listening to the stories of people in the riding about the issues that matter most to them.

After resigning her byline in 2019, she founded her own business, Tammy Scott-Wallace Communications.

Scott-Wallace grew up in Belleisle and has lived in Sussex for 17 years with her husband Troy. Their children are Jaime, 14, and Kegan, 17.
