(Sept. 21, 2024) – The Honourable Jill Green, PCNB Candidate for Fredericton North, issued the following statement on Liberal leader Susan Holt’s promise of 30,000 more housing units by 2030.
“Liberals have a bad habit of pretending to have original ideas. Liberal leader Susan Holt is simply promising to do what’s already being done.
“The Progressive Conservative government’s Housing for All strategy includes a goal 6,000 per year and by 2030 those 30,000 units will be built. She’s not promising anything that’s not already happening in the province.”
Regarding a Liberal promise to remove the HST from multi-unit housing, the question is how much will this really cost?
Let’s not allow the Liberals to take us back into the red.
