Enthroned on the Wall of Fame posthumously
Rose was well known for her contributions and dedication to the Progressive Conservative Party of New Brunswick, both Provincial and Federal. Her tireless efforts as an active Conservative Party member gained Rose the respect and gratitude of many people throughout the Province during her many years of service.
Rose served as the President of the local Petitcodiac Riding Progressive Conservative Association, served as Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Petitcodiac, and was awarded an honorary Lifetime Membership to the Provincial Progressive Conservative Party.
Rose was also active in many other aspects of her community and is well remembered for her fairness, her compassion, and her love of children. Her dedication and diligence resulted in an historical school building erected in 1925 being renamed The Rose Horsman Building in her honour.
