Attending and Voting at the Convention

We are currently sending confirmation of registrations to each registered member. If have not received confirmation of your registration by letter mail or by email by Thursday, October 16, 2008, please call our offices at (506) 453-3456.

Our Leadership Convention, It’s a Matter of Trust, on Saturday, October 18, 2008, will be one of the largest political events in New Brunswick’s history. It is an exciting time for our Party as we select our next Leader who will be the next Premier of our Province!

ATTENDING THE CONVENTION

On Saturday, October 18, 2008, you may attend the Convention at any of the following locations.

AN EVENING WITH BERNARD LORD

Join us on Friday night at the Fredericton Inn for An Evening with Bernard Lord. Located at 1315 Regent Street in Fredericton, the event will be held in the Bicentennial Room beginning at 6:30 p.m. There will be an opportunity for you to pick up your delegate’s badge during this event, in advance of Convention Day.

WHEN TO GET YOUR DELEGATE’S BADGE

To get your delegate’s badge, come to the registration table during one of the following times.

Friday, October 17 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.		Fredericton Inn, 1315 Regent Street (Fredericton ONLY)
Saturday, October 18 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.		Marshall d’Avray Hall, UNB Fredericton Each of the Satellite Sites - See list above Each of the Other Polling Locations - See list above

If you are in line before the end of the registration times, you can still get your delegate’s badge.

If you get in line after the end of the registration times, you will not be allowed to pick up your delegate’s badge OR access the Convention OR vote!

WHAT YOU NEED WITH YOU TO GET YOUR DELEGATE’S BADGE

To get your delegate’s badge, you must prove who you are. You can prove your identity in one of two ways.

Option 1: One piece of photo ID
Option 2: Two pieces of ID, one with your signature

Please refer to the lists below to find out what you must bring with you to the Convention in order to receive your delegate’s badge.
